The drug Vitaon (Karavaeva balsam) is a series of products with a natural composition for external use. Balsams Vitaon series prescribed to patients for the care of the skin and mucous membranes. Karavaeva preparations have anti-inflammatory, emollient, antiseptic and regenerating effects.
Release form and composition of the drug
Vitaon series preparations are available in several types: Vitaon baby, Vitaon Lux, Vitaon cream, Vitaon for the oral cavity. The basis of Karavaev balsams are olive oil and soybean oil.
The preparation contains oil extracts of medicinal herbs: pine buds, peppermint leaves, fennel fruits, rose hips, herbs of bitter wormwood, yarrow herbs, St. John's wort, celandine, medicinal chamomile, thyme flowers, caraway seeds. Camphor, peppermint oil, and fennel oil act as auxiliary components in the Vitaon balsam series.
The drug is sold in bottles of 15, 25, 30, 50 and 500 ml.
Pharmacological properties of the drug
Vitaon series preparations are used in medicine for the treatment and care of the skin and mucous membranes. The components of medicinal herbs that are part of the balm Karavaeva have a powerful regenerating, strengthening, antimicrobial, regenerating and softening effect on the patient's body. Medicinal herbs help relieve inflammation and swelling of the skin.
Balsam Vitaon accelerates the processes of regeneration, eliminates pain from burns, cuts, scratches on the skin. Under the influence of oil extracts, the patient is eliminated dry skin, peeling and itching. Despite the fact that the drug is well tolerated and practically has no contraindications, pregnant women should use this tool with extreme caution, since the hormonal background of the expectant mother changes dramatically during fetus bearing and this can lead to unpredictable skin reactions to the balm.
The use of Karamaev balsam during breastfeeding is possible according to the instructions.
