Mechanism of action
Vibrocil gel is a combined preparation containing vasoconstrictor-phenylephrine and antiallergic - dimethindene.
Phenylephrine is a stimulator of α1-adrenergic receptors located in the nasal mucosa. Due to this, there is a narrowing of the vessels and removal of swelling from the mucous membranes and paranasal sinuses.
Dimetinden acts by blocking the H1-histamine-dependent receptors. Prevents the development of the allergic process, does not inhibit the work of the ciliated epithelium.

The dosage form of the gel makes it possible to provide the drug with a longer activity in comparison with drops and spray.
