Bronholitin syrup instructions for use
Bronholitin is a combination medication from the group of antitussive drugs that have a bronchodilator effect.
The composition of the syrup includes such effective substances as ephedrine and glaucine.
As auxiliary substances use basil oil, citric acid, purified water, sucrose, ethanol.
The components of the drug Bronholitin contribute to the provision of such pharmacological effects:
- Ephedrine - promotes the expansion of the bronchi, stimulates breathing. Due to the vasoconstrictor effect, edema is reduced.
- Glaucine - suppression of the cough center. At the same time, respiratory depression does not occur, drug dependence and stool disorders (difficulty defecation) do not develop.

Method of use, dosage
It is recommended to take the drug inside, after eating.
- Adults and patients older than 10 years of age are recommended to take 10 ml of syrup up to 4 times a day.
- Patients from 3 to 10 years of age are recommended to take 5 ml of syrup three times a day.
