Aurobin is a drug from the group of corticosteroids in combination with an antimicrobial agent.
The composition of the ointment includes such active ingredients as lidocaine, prednisone and dexpanthenol.
Auxiliary substances are: triclosan, cetyl alcohol, polysorbate, liquid paraffin, purified water, oil.
Aurobin is a combined drug that is used in the treatment of diseases of the perianal area. The ointment helps to provide anti-inflammatory, analgesic and regenerating effects.
The pharmacological effect is due to the multicomponent composition:
- Prednisolone is a corticosteroid that promotes the provision of local antiallergic and anti-inflammatory effects. This substance also helps to reduce vascular permeability and increase the tone of the vascular walls.
- Lidocaine - helps to eliminate pain and itching.
- Dexapntenol - accelerates the healing process of tissues and mucous membranes.

Mode of application
The drug should be applied in a thin layer to the site of inflammation from 2 to 4 times a day.
During the treatment of internal hemorrhoids, a small amount of ointment is injected into the anus 2-4 times a day. When symptoms of the disease diminish, ointment may be used less frequently. The course of treatment is not more than 1 week.
