Allokin-Alpha belongs to the group of antiviral medicines. This drug shows high activity in relation to influenza viruses, hepatitis B and C, 1 and 2 types of the herpes virus and papilloma virus.
Composition of the preparation and form of release
Allokin is available in the form of a powder intended for the preparation of a solution for further injection use. The drug is packed in ampoules of 1 mg in cardboard packs from 1 to 10 pieces in cells.
The main active substance of the drug Allokin-Alpha is the alloferon-oligopeptide, a component that stimulates the production of interferons in the body, aimed at maintaining the human immune system. Indications for use of the drug

- In the complex treatment for acute and chronic hepatitis B or hepatitis C - in order to achieve the maximum therapeutic effect of the drug, its use is important to begin no later than 7 days after the appearance of icterus of the skin and mucous membranes.
Method of application and dosage
The drug Allokin-Alpha is indicated for injection after the preliminary preparation of the solution. In order to properly prepare the solution the contents of 1 ampoule the drug must be dissolved in 1 ml of physiological sodium chloride solution. To avoid the development of side effects, doctors do not recommend using any other drugs to dissolve ampoule powder.
