Adaptol is a class of tranquilizers that can be used to reduce the symptoms of anxiety, anxiety and agitation.

Mechanism of action

By chemical structure, Adaptol is close to natural substances produced by a healthy body. In addition, the drug affects 4 major mediator systems: serotonin, adrenaline and cholinergic, as well as GABA. Peripheral adrenoceptor blocking action of the drug does not have (ie, does not reduce blood pressure due to the mechanisms of vasodilation).

Adaptol quickly eliminates the symptoms of anxiety, irritability, anxiety, internal tremor, as well as emotional overstrain. At the same time, the normalization of the emotional background is not accompanied by impaired coordination of movements, as well as muscular relaxation (muscle relaxation).

The drug does not reduce the level of mental activity, and does not affect the indicators of accuracy and coordination of movements. Because of this, Adaptol can be used with students or working persons.

Dosage and administration

As a means that can reduce withdrawal symptoms, Adaptol is taken 500-1000 mg (1-2 tablets) three times a day, the course of treatment is several weeks.

Symptoms of overdose

Even with repeated doses exceeding the drug in clinical trials, it was determined to be of low toxicity, since there were no cases of severe poisoning. Sometimes there may be complaints of severe weakness, lower blood pressure, as well as dizziness.

Interaction with other drugs

Adaptol can be used in combination therapy with other tranquilizers, neuroleptics, psychostimulants and antidepressants.

Side effects
